Finding Inner Peace and Staying Centred

by Jo Lawrence-Mills

When we can move through the world without being impacted by the reactions of others and/or external circumstances ...

When we have released any attachment to or need for others or the world to respond to us in a specific way ...

When we can move through space and time as Love and as deeply centred and lovingly connected beings ...

Then, we have come to embody a highly evolved state.

Part of our greatest spiritual quest is to cultivate the ability to remain centred, grounded, connected and loving in the face of challenges and reaction, and for these integrative qualities not to be compromised or dependent upon another to be other than they are or for the world to be other than it is in that moment.

When our sense of inner-peace, inner-balance, well-being, harmony, connectedness, bliss, happiness and joy are impervious to the responses and reactions of others ...

When we are able to move serenely through life while navigating and negotiating the various trials and tribulations and opportunities and possibilities that present themselves the moment we engage and interact with the world around us ...

When our attachment to and dependence upon others and/or 'things' to feel peaceful, centred, connected, happy, loving and deeply good within ourselves has dissolved ...

Then, our capacity to be consistently peaceful, unconditionally loving, intimately connected, unshakeably centred, solidly grounded and profoundly blissful is entirely sourced from our own deeply integrated and sublimely evolved relationship with ourselves and the world around us.

It is then, that we have attained a most rare and blessed state.
